despite my frequent rants on the ugliness of osaka there are occaisionally little gems to be found. not far from the picture I posted last friday, you can find this quaint, traditional house with thatched roof. of course your view will always be scarred by a telegraph pole though.

thanks Ian. not sketching as much as I could be but keeping the hand in. my old boy's an architect so my style came from him. how about you - what's your game?

That is a really nice sketch. I used to live in Kansai, and in my years there filled many sketchbooks.
Do you have an architectural background? The perspectiv sense is strong and clear.
